Hate him or love him, LaMelo Ball is one of the more entertaining names associated with the NBA. As the youngest Ball Brother prepares for the 2025-26 season, he and his PUMA Hoops family continue to imagine the MB.05 in makeovers that only contribute to his lore.
Thus far, each color scheme to appear on the basketball silhouette has indulged in vibrant tones and eye-catching design cues. The newly-surfaced "Crowd Surf" style is no different, opting for shades of red and touches of gold across the performance-oriented build. The pair's theme draws inspiration from the rockstar status Ball has reached over the last decade and celebrates the fans that've been on the ride with him since his days as a teenager.
A tie-dye pattern takes over the majority of the upper while sculpted overlays and edgy molded barbed wire accents work together to bring the "Crowd Surf" concept to life. Wing straps at the heel boast a shimmering gold finish, whereas a molded 1 and a skull on the outsole complete the vibrant look.
Enjoy official photos of the "Crowd Surf" MB.05 for LaMelo Ball below. Pairs are scheduled to launch via PUMA.com and select retailers on Friday, Nov. 7, for $130.
