Born in 1980, the Fast Rider was — at the time— one of PUMA‘s most comfortable and innovative sneakers on the market. When it dropped, it was pegged as a state-of-the-art runner, right at the crux when running moved from the tracks to the streets. It’s also aligned with the timing of casual worn sneakers — Its timing was perfect. Helped along by it’s audacious colors, the Fast Rider became a go-to for pretty much everything, living up to the sneaker’s motto: Ride On. Now, almost 40 years after its first release, two OG Fast Rider colorways return to ride on to the next generation.

In a straight one-to-one remake, the reinstated PUMA Fast Rider comes with classic breathable Nylon uppers and leather and suede reinforcements for stability. The heavy-duty outsole features the shock-absorbing PUMA Federbein, staying true to its OG stylings, as does the two colorways in vibrant blue and yellow, and a seasonal black and orange.
Both OGs return to select stockists like 43einhalbon October 26th for a mere $80 — a must-have for OG trainerheads.
