The Statuesque PUMA Palace Guard “4th of July” Releases Next Week
Suede, Stars and Stripes!
Gearing up for a big July 4 the celebration, sneaker brands across the States are beefing up their celebratory Stars and Stripes catalog with patriotic drops left, right and center. Joining the party is PUMA, who bring with them another banger of a palace-guard, following on from their 30-year celebratory pair for Pistons HOFer Isiah Thomas’ first Championship (those kicks could easily pass for Independence Day kicks, too.) But with that release being such a bold, in-your-face colorway, the German brand has followed it up with a back to basics “Whisper White” tonal offering, which p homage to the Declaration of Independence.
With a worn Suede upper that mimics the Statues of D.C., and first sentences of the historic document printed on the sock liner, along with the USA’s founding date July 4th, 1776 embossed on the heel, you’ve got yourself one bonafide patriots act. But still, if you want to flex your support on the fly, without having to whip off your shoe and show people the detail, you get a second pair of Starred and Striped laces to please those outsides of the know.
Pairs of the statuesque PUMA Palace Guard “4th of July” will be available directly from PUMA.comfrom June 28th, to give you enough to to get them in hand to flex on feet for your Fourth festivities.
