The first round NBA Playoffs series between the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks might've ended unfortunately, but that's not to take merit away from Tyrese Haliburton's key performance. The guard led his squad to a 4-1 victory against Giannis Antetokounmpo, all while wearing a PUMA All-Pro NITRO™ inspired the wrestling's legendary Undertaker.
Currently only a Player-Exclusive (PE) edition of the basketball shoe, the pair features a black-and-purple color scheme across its performance-oriented design. Patent leather panels throughout the upper harken back to the wrestler's long leather jacket. Lightning graphics on the tongue also reference Undertaker's entrance, "Rest in Peace."
The connection to the famous WWE figure might seem random, but Haliburton's been vocal about his affinity for the entertainment platform. Furthermore, an All-Pro NITRO™ PE inspired by Undertaker serves as a bold statement from the 25-year-old: he was ready to send the Bucks packing ahead of last night's Game 5. And that he did.
There's no word on an eventual PUMA.com release for the pair as of yet, but the PUMA Hoops family has been on a streak of launching some of Haliburton's PEs. If the pacers continue to progress throughout the 2024-25 NBA Playoffs, it's possible the "Undertaker" basketball shoe will commemorate Haliburton's run.
