Tyrese Haliburton is taking the PUMA Hali 1 back to East High with a new Player Exclusive inspired by Troy Bolton from High School Musical.
The red colorway was recently debuted on court by Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell before Haliburton shared a closer look at the pair. Its connection to the Disney franchise is immediately clear, with an all-red build referencing the East High Wildcats basketball uniform worn by Bolton in the films.

The most direct nod appears on the tongue, where Bolton’s No. 14 is displayed in white. A large outlined PUMA Cat wraps around the heel, while tonal red mesh and molded overlays cover the upper. Underfoot, the sculpted midsole fades from red to orange before transitioning into a milky translucent outsole.
The PE continues Haliburton’s run of personality-driven Hali 1 colorways while also giving Mitchell another exclusive pair tied to the Indiana basketball connection.
There is currently no indication that the “Troy Bolton” PUMA Hali 1 PE will receive a public release.
For basketball sneakers that are on the way, Ja Morant's Nike Ja 4 is set to debut in August.
