Angel Reese Now Has Her Own Barbie x Reebok Basketball Collab

It's only right that Angel Reese—once known as "Bayou Barbie"—gets an official collaboration with Mattel's Barbie. Having been part of Barbie Dream Fest in March, the WNBA superstar has now brought her love for the iconic doll to her Reebok Angel Reese 1 basketball shoe.

The latest take on the Reebok Basketball franchise sees the modern performance model clad in a straightforward "Chalk/Pink/Purple" color scheme. The lightest of the three tones takes over the bulk of the sneaker, allowing for hits of "Pink" and "Purple" around the heel, across inner lining, and at the tongue to pop. At quick glance, this color execution alone wouldn't be enough to know the pair is a proper Barbie collaboration, but closer inspection reveals otherwise.

The design team in charge of the cultural crossover has placed a classic Barbie logo behind the tongue. Reese frequently wears her hair in a similar ponytail, creating a connection between her and the popular doll. The top of the tongue features a tag that reads "Barbie" in the franchise's signature font.

Reese has never been shy about showing off her expressive, often-pink style, helping the "Bayou Barbie" nickname during her days playing for the Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers. (She's since referred to herself on Instagram as "Reebok Barbie.") Her off-court fashion sense has also put the Maryland-native at the forefront of influential athletes, culminating in her walking as part of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in October 2025. She's also appeared on the cover of magazines like Vogue.

The Barbie x Reebok collaboration also sees a limited-edition doll modeled after Reese. The Barbie Signature release wears the special Angel Reese 1 pair; comes with a pink, Barbie-branded basketball; and wears a number "5" jersey.
