Shine Bright Like a Ruby in This Nike Air Foamposite One

The Nike Air Foamposite One is revving up for a blockbuster 30th anniversary celebration in 2027. With a handful of releases already teased for the new year, a Women's-exclusive "Ruby" pair has just been rumored.

The news arrives by way of X user @zSneakerHeadz and Romania's Sneaker Market, which posit (no pun intended) that the red-colored Foams release during the Summer 2027 season. Bold takes on Eric Avar's beetle-inspired Nike Basketball shoe from 1997 aren't new, but what stands out from the upcoming "Ruby" Foamposite One is that the molded uppers will feature printed uppers. A "Sport Red/Challenge Red" color scheme is expected to animate everything from the red gemstone graphics across the top-half to the dimpled outsole underfoot. Pitch "Black" contrast should take on inner lining, mid-foot shanks, and tongues, as it has on so many iconic Foams over the years.

As aforementioned, "Ruby" Foams are just the latest Nike Foamposite pair to be reported for a release in 2027. Other pairs donning the innovative molded material include a Nike SB Foamposite "Team Red" and "Pink Gradient" Foamposite One.
