Nike SB Air Foamposite One "Team Red" Release Expected Spring 2027

The Nike Air Foamposite One celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2027. As such, it seems that the Swoosh is looking to highlight the beetle-inspired design throughout the year, offering it in fan-favorite, familiar styles and experimental takes alike.

One such project that fall into the latter category is the release of a skateboarding-ready Nike SB Foamposite One, as reported by Romania's Sneaker Market outlet.

Expected to launch in a "Team Red/Black" color scheme, the modified-for-the-board Foams are slated to join Nike Sportswear's Spring 2027 release calendar and join a growing list of performance footwear styles from other sports—namely basketball and running—to be updated to better fit the needs of skateboarders. This type of project has already touched the Air Jordan 4 and Air Max 95.

If an SB Air Foamposite releases in 2027, it won't be the first time Foamposite material has appeared on a skateboarding sneaker: Back in 2018, the Swoosh released a modified SB Air Force 2 Low as part of a "Rivals" Pack. The retro pair featured "Royal Blue" Foamposite panels across the upper.
