Michael Rider might've stolen Paris Fashion Week® by unveiling a CELINE x Reebok collaboration for Spring/Summer 2027.
The unexpected linkup between high fashion house and sportswear institution consists of premium, tonal makeovers of low-profile Reebok Freestyle sneakers. Many of the pairs worn on the runway by Rider's selected models were distressed, dirty, and lived in—a divisive aesthetic—but unlike pairs from Golden Goose or Balenciaga, the CELINE collab will come in pristine condition out the box.
Reebok is no stranger to luxury ensembles. The heritage company lent its cult-favorite Instapump Fury to Chanel for its Spring/Summer 2001 showcase. This project appeared before sportswear brands and fashion designers worked together with the same cadence and scope as they do today. Rider's reworked Freestyle Lo collection is a lot tamer than the avant-garde Instapump, but similarly blends premium craftsmanship, luxury cachet, and sports heritage.
White co-branded pairs from CELINE and Reebok lead the charge, but the partnership also promises high-quality footwear in peanut, red, oxblood, and butter color schemes.
