Montreal’s Dime is taking Shawn Kemp’s iconic Kamikaze II signature sneaker and repurposing it as a skate-ready silhouette for three options as part of an impending collaboration with Reebok.
The world-renowned skate shop has lopped off the high cut in favor of a low, with all three options featuring the ollie-friendly cut. Colorways of Lead, Royal, and Gold each adorn its nubuck uppers with plump leather overlays across the profile; just think how good that nubuck will look all torn up! Tongues and rear overlays also arrive in nubuck, the former debossed with the label’s serif font, before its sole units offer up some differing arrangements. The Lead pair lends itself to a simple all-black mid and translucent blue outsole, while the Royal and Gold get a little geometric, continuing the aggressive lines down to the outsole.
Enjoy images of the upcoming retail pairs here below, and find each sneaker arriving at Dime on December 5th, with a wider launch of the Lead and Royal pairs landing on Reebok.com on December 12th.
In other news from Reebok, the Kobe Question Mid has been moved to a Christmas Eve release.
