Having just appeared in a firey “Lava” arrangement, things have quickly cooled down for the Reebok Kamikaze II, with this new “96 All-Star” banger set to touch down TODAY.
As the name suggests, the pair is a direct nod to Shawn Kemp’s 1996 All-Star sneakers. As close to the original as possible, the pair presenters in a staple suede and leather construction, with the former assuming the upper layer in the titular blue hue. The design’s signature squiggle overlays arrive in smooth white leather, as well as the rear overlay and pull. Tongues of white mesh are tipped in blue suede, with a sole unit also split between the two hues. Branding throughout is mixed, with white embroidery found at the tongue and forefoot, and blues in the back and underfoot.
US-based retailers DTLR has listed up a release for the throwback pair for this morning, August 13th, at 10 am Eastern, while Reebok US has its date listed for the first thing next Friday (00:00 am ET, August 20) In either case, grab a detailed look at the pair here below, and be sure to hit the relevant retail links below on their specific dates to scoop up your pair for $120.
