OG Post 01.10.20 // Reebok’s retro hoops releases are on a roll — From last year’s return of Allen Iverson’s Answer 5 to yesterday’s reissue of Shaq’s OG Shaqnosis, the Vector Brand has been killing it with retro reissues. Now they’re set to recall the former in its low-cut format which was first introduced almost two decades ago. Here, the Reebok Answer 5 Low arrives in three new and simplistic colorways — Black/White, White/Oatmeal and White/White/Yellow — for the Spring season ahead.
The slightly modified cut dips down at the ankle by only a few millimeters compared to his mid-cut OG, but remains unadulterated elsewhere. All three pairs arrive anchored in tumbled white leather, with the white/black overlayed by a black leather should, the oatmeal opting for suede coverage and the white on white opts for, well, white. Completing the designs are standard I3 badge placement on the lateral and tongues, white midsoles and black and translucent-popped outsoles, and image-imposed insoles featuring Bubba Chuck himself.
