Reebok to Reissue Allen Iverson’s OG Answer 5 in August

Your prayers have been Answered — it’s back.

Getting the tap for its first-ever retro is Allen Iverson’s Reebok Answer 5 in its OG White and Red colorway, which is set to touch down in a matter of weeks, if not days.

Worn by the Georgetown alumni in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game (below), the 2019 version arrives with all the signature markings, including its white leather upper and bold red shroud overlays that extends up the length of the tongue, DMX cushioning units and A.I.’s signature “I3” branding on the lateral overlays and tongue. Iverson’s John Hancock is placed prominently on the inner bootie’s heel, and the pair is complete with special edition A.I. printed insoles.

These retrospective Reebok Answer 5 OGs are already available in Japan and throughout Europe on the official Reebok webstore, so you can expect a Stateside release to follow on August 1st, 2019.
