Allen Iverson’s Reebok Answer IV has enjoyed a return to form in 2021, with several key releases of the silhouette feeding a long-hungry market. Now, after what was seemingly a lifetime, its next installment has appeared in it’s OG white and grey scheme that’s been a bonafide hoops classic colorway since the 1980s.
This retro release is as simple as you’ll get from the Answer 5 line, with a staple white leather construct met by medium grey accents throughout. I3 branding at the midfoot and DMX/Vector motifs at the heel opt for contrasting finishes, whilst rear pulls provided a tonal debossed finish. There’s the signature zipper done in grey and nickel, with the pair completed by standard AI graphic insoles and outsole motifs. But wait— there’s one more thing; the tongue and rear pull is capped off with a 3M reflective finish — a very subtle addition to an unassuming proposition.
