Mid-90s basketball belonged to Reebok. The brand, who had Allen Iverson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Shawn Kemp all wearing Vector Logos on their feet, could do no wrong. But aside from their signature wears, their run-of-the-mill releases were some of the most popular sneakers around; the Ice Pick, the Kamikaze, the Blast, the Mobius and the Avant Guard, all loved by hoopers the world over. And while we’ve seen retros of most of the aforementioned pairs — even a remodeled Mobius Experiment 3 by way of Pyer Moss — the Avant Guard has remained absent from a retro since its 1996 release. Until now.

After the OG Black/White made a triumphant return a few months back, the Bok is bringing more retro-styled flavors to the fold, with this White, Navy and Black offering aligning very closely to colorways of the 90s era. The cross-silhouette outsole, which is also featured on the very similarly built Ice Pick and the Mobius, arrives in black and white, while smooth navy and white uppers come trimmed with black detail. Two-tone nylon and mesh tongues compliment the black liners and laces, and the pair is complete with oversized Vector logo overlays on the lateral ankle.

Pairs of this Reebok Avant Guard in White/Navy/Black are available right now, right here on Reebok.com for $120.
