Reebok Basketball debuted the Engine A, its first performance footwear product in over a decade, on Feb. 13. In the last month, countless hoopers have taken to the internet to express how impressive the sneaker has been. To coincide with spring's arrival, the heritage brand has prepped the exciting basketball shoe in a vibrant 'Solar Lime/Black' color scheme.

While not as shimmering as the debut Reebok Engine A, the sequel features a near-tonal finish that commands attention. The one-piece, molded synthetic upper indulges in a fluorescent-like shade of green, which is contrasted by a 'Black' mesh base visible across the upper. Padding on the tongue and protruding heel clips deliver protection against bumps, while the cushioning solution underfoot care for the foot with every step.

Reebok's hoops-obsessed squad revisited the ERS technology (Energy Return System) found in some of its performance models from the early 1990s, fine-tuning it for today's game. In addition to delivering a comfortable ride, the tube-shaped unit provides stability underneath the heel. A SuperFloat foam core visible through cutouts in the outsole help with shock-absorption during any big-time play. Lastly, the rubber tread features a multi-directional pattern to assist with any type of movement on the court.

Enjoy official photos of the 'Solar Lime' Engine A below. The basketball sneaker is set release on Friday, March 28, via Reebok.com for a budget-friendly $120.
