Emmitt Smith's Reebok Preseason is stepping back into the spotlight with a nostalgic nod to the 1990s, launching two new suede colorways that embrace the era's love for rugged, outdoor-inspired aesthetics.
The highlight of this release is the mid-top version, decked out in dark brown and green suede, channeling the iconic "beef and broccoli" colorway. While contemporary sneakerheads might associate this scheme with Aimé Leon Dore’s New Balance collaborations, it's a style deeply rooted in New York City's fashion history, often linked to classic Timberland designs from the 1990s and 2000s. This nostalgic choice perfectly matches the Reebok Preseason, a model first introduced in 1992 as a cross-trainer.
Complementing this earthy option is a low-top silhouette bursting with vibrant colors that evoke the spirit of Nike’s ACG line. Purple, teal, and yellow accents pop against a brown, black, and grey suede backdrop, with occasional nylon and mesh inserts to add texture and depth. This colorway offers a bolder, more colorful alternative that maintains the collection's vintage charm.
Both pairs will be available directly from Reebok’s website from October 18th, priced at $130 for the mid-top and $100 for the low-top.
