Though you might not have known, Allen Iverson’s Reebok Question celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021. Likely due to lengthy delays caused by the COVID effect, a lot of the celebrations had to be postponed. In fact, at the tail end of November, we unveiled over 10 new colorways, including a modernized version of 1997’s elegant “Black Gold” release, a special-edition effort from Concepts that honored Iverson’s iconic 1996 NBA Draft Class, and the return of the OG Reebok Question “Blue Toe”. But none have been more direct in their celebration than this one: the Reebok Question Mid “25th Anniversary”
Being the traditional anniversary “gift”, silver is employed throughout the pair’s accentuations, from the pearlized toe caps and collars to the special-edition anniversary embroidery in the rear. The back is also hit with chrome #3 pieces, while fine details like lace flecks, and vector embroidery sport a listening silver finish. Elsewhere, the smooth white leather upper is complimented by an all-white midsole and a semi-translucent grey outsole that shows the brand’s traditional tricolor Vector logo underfoot.
