Salomon continues to expand its collaborative universe, this time partnering with Miami-based boutique Andrew for the first-ever Andrew x Salomon project. Their debut lands on the XT-6—a model already synonymous with technical design—but here it’s reworked through a distinctly Miami lens, paying homage to one of the city’s most iconic culinary staples: the Florida stone crab.
Andrew’s version of the XT-6 translates the whole sensory experience of a stone crab feast directly into footwear form. The upper is dressed in a gradient of coral shell, creamy taupes, and soft neutral tones, mirroring the natural palette of the delicacy itself. Glossy metallic accents appear throughout, nodding to the silver trays found in classic seafood houses up and down the coast.
Citrus pops of lime-green add a playful twist, referencing the lemon and lime wedges traditionally served on the side, while the icy printed sockliner replicates the crushed ice used to chill the claws before serving. It’s an approach that blends storytelling and material execution in a way that feels both premium and deeply tied to Miami culture.
For Salomon, the XT-6 has become a canvas for global reinterpretation, and the Andrew collaboration continues that momentum with a colorway rooted in local flavor yet crafted for worldwide appeal.
The Andrew x Salomon XT-6 “Stone Crab” will release exclusively at Andrew’s online store on December 4, followed by a global launch through Salomon.com on December 8.
