Justin R. Saunders might not command the same hype he once did with his JJJJound imprint, but the Montreal-based creative continues to build out his catalog of collaborations with some of the more influential brands across the globe. Ahead of August, the studio-head has previewed another project with Salomon.
Having worked with the expert in performance gear at its height, JJJJound will soon release two Salomon XT-6 styles, one of the company's most popular lifestyle models. In comparison to the preceding XT-Wings 2 from 2023, the impending collaborations feature an understated black-and-red color scheme and vibrant blue-and-yellow finish across its technical build. In true JJJJound fashion, the pairs could easily be mistaken for inline offerings due to their subdued modifications, although nods to the image-board-turned-fashion-brand land on the multi-colored tongue label and medial heel.
Stay tuned for firm release details and official photos of the JJJJound x XT-6. The project is expected to drop before Fall 2025 gets going.
