Despite being originally designed for off-road running in 2013, the Salomon XT-6 has really only gained popularity among fashion enthusiasts in the past 24 months.
A popular choice for both performance or fashion, the French brand will celebrate with a special “10th Anniversary” edition that’s fitting for both worlds.
The fiery red colorway is a bold statement, with tonal; shades of ruby covering the breathable mesh and TPU film upper. The shoe’s function-first design is enhanced by an Agile Chassis™ System, EnergyCell midsole, and Mud Contagrip® outsole, all featuring a two-tone color scheme. A “10Y” callout on the lateral heel commemorates the shoe’s anniversary. A pop of off-white on the medial bridge and toggle lacing provide final color breaks to complete the design.
Although Salomon has yet to release official information regarding the release of the “10th Anniversary” XT-6 in “Fiery Red,” some retailers like SVD have already slated the shoe to drop on March 28th.
