END Goes Cerebral on Saucony Azura 2000 “The Brain” Collaboration

Global retailers END is known for going cerebral on their collaborations, with attention to detail that borderlines OCD. Fittingly, their latest collaboration takes that obsession to a literal level with their upcoming END x Saucony Azura 2000 “The Brain”

Delivered in the same spirit as their Burger and Lobster efforts with Saucony, END’s creativity on the aptly-titled sneaker leaves no stone — or in this instance, skull — unturned. Here, it’s the underlying upper that does most of the work, preparing the protective skull-like overlays to pop against its pink suede and red mesh that mimic the human brain. The aforementioned skull overlays arrive in shades of bone and beige suede and work towards a classic white midsole beneath. From there we see inspired graphics underfoot, most of which is encased in a translucent outsole, and the pair is finished with some thematic co-branding at the tongue that’s reminiscent of a 1980s health textbook.
