Planned to be Saucony’s marquee silhouette for the new century, the Grid Azura 2000 found itself shelved by the brand, only to see the light of day a mere two decades later. It was kicked off earlier this year with an in-line release, followed shortly after by a banging effort from retailers Bodega. Since then, though, its been pretty quiet for the very loud silhouette. But now it’s back with a colorful two-piece pack that utilizes to palates fit for the era in which it was incepted. Here, a classic “Tiger” colorway arrives with golden-yellow and white mesh uppers, yellow suede toe caps, stark black suede overlays that mimic tiger stripes, and punchy oranges accents. On the other had we see something a little calmer, arriving anchored in grey and white, and paired with calming purple overlays and muted pink accents.
The duo hit Saucony.com earlier today, and pairs are still available now for $110 a pop.
