Saucony Gets Saucy on the Shadow 5000 with this “Ketchup and Mustard” Colorway

Heritage footwear house Saucony has shown a penchant for edible-inspired concepts. From collaborations with Dunkin’ Donuts to the more recent beignet-inspired Cafe du Monde collaboration, the brand’s fondness for food has always shone through. Now the brand looks to add another saucy addition to their catalog with this “Ketchup and Mustard” Shadow 5000.

Arriving in a classic suede and mesh construction, the pair is split in two-tones red up top and mustard yellow around the guards. Stark white details are reminiscent of vintage condiment labels, and a classic gum rubber outsole reminds us too much of a hot dog bun holding it all together.
