Hispanic Heritage Month 2026 is officially underway and Shoe Palace is celebrating it in big.
A long-standing institution within communities with large Latino and Latino-American populations, the retailer and community space has kicked off the "Our Roots. Our Voices." campaign to serve as a reminder to all to take up space while being proud of their heritage.
To this end, Shoe Palace has teamed up with four major brands rooted in sport, but present in culture-at-large—adidas, ASICS, HOKA, New Balance—to highlight four inspiring role models across more than 80 pieces of original creative and a month-long event series in Los Angeles.
The collaborative projects are:
- Rachel Gomez of Viva La Bonita x HOKA
- Adrian Hernandez of Ugly Primo x adidas
- Nails by Analysse Hernandez x New Balance
- Fabrica de Rosas x ASICS
"We were intentional about choosing people who aren’t waiting for permission to take up space," said Robert Brack, Shoe Palace’s SVP of Product, Marketing and Brand Strategy, in an official press release. "Each of these creatives is pushing their industry forward while bringing their culture, community and point of view with them...Our partners at HOKA, adidas, New Balance and ASICS aligned with that vision from the beginning and helped us build each chapter around the individual rather than asking the individual to fit the brand."
If you're in Los Angeles between now and Oct. 15, keep an eye on the @ShoePalace Instagram account to see how you can join the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration with any of the four aforementioned Latino and Latina creatives.
