Harry Kane Wins First Ballon d'Or in Skechers Football Boots

Yes, you read that correctly: England's Harry Kane is the 2026 Ballon d'Or Winner. The Bayern Munich forward put on impressive display after impressive display during the 25/26 campaign—and he did it wearing Skechers Football boots.

Kane took home the award after a 73-goal season (65 matches), beating out On Football's Kylian Mbappé and adidas Football's Lamime Yamal. The England captain was also given the Best Striker of the Year award.

While impressive on its own, Kane's win of football's greatest individual award is even more monumental because it gives a competitor brand like Skechers the type of validation it was missing to truly be considered against heritage football boot makers.

Over the summer, OG Anunoby of the New York Knicks gave Skechers Basketball a huge look when he helped his team win its first NBA championship in 53 years.

Kane currently wears the Skechers SKX_2 and has already registered 14 goals for the 2026-27 campaign.

Skechers Football unveiled a special Ballon d'Or-inspired pair of boots for the player, as is customary for the Men's and Women's winners, but there's no word about the white-and-gold pair releasing as of now.
