Coming of age.
It’s been a while since we saw these, but the Nike Air Max Deluxe is back for the first time since 1999, arriving just in time for summer.
This one clearly draws inspiration form the Air Max 97, utilizing it’s sole unit, but replacing the traditional wavy upper for printed neoprene and plastic caging to lock it in at the toe, lateral side and lace loops.
We’re expecting a few colorways to drop, including a collaboration with Skepta, but starting with an OG is always a bonus.
Nike Europe have these listed for a July 12 release, with the US details to follow.
UPDATE: Following the overseas drop last mnth, the OG “Photo Blue” Air Max Deluxe is finally set to release in the States on Friday, August 10th via Nike SNKRS, Nike.com, and select retailers.
In addition to the retail version, Nike also flexed an exclusive Friends and Family pair that inverses the OG pattern (below)
