Steph Curry Sends a Shout-Out to Oakland for Housing the Warriors Since ’71

Before Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors migrate across the bay to San Francisco’s new Chase Center, the Chef is taking time out to thank the loyal fans in Oakland, who have housed the Warriors since 1971. The two-time NBA MVP and arguably the greatest shooter to ever live will be honoring O-Town with a special edition UA Curry 6, lovingly dubbed “Thank You, Oakland.” Based in black, the simplistic pair sends a literal shout-out to the town, sporting a bold yellow “OAKLAND” motif on the HOVR-loaded midsole. Further hits of yellow arrive on the lacestays, tongue pulls and ankle detail, as well as Steph’s signature detail underfoot.
O-Town natives can pick up a pair now at the SC30 pop-up shop located in downtown Oakland, but Dub fans across the country will have to wait until the May 31st drop, which will hit UA.com for $130.
