A BATHING APE®︎—also known as BAPE®︎—is teaming up once again with Vans for Summer 2026. The two institutions are bringing a mismatched, street-approved makeover to a duo of the Knu Skool, a playful take on the legendary Old Skool.
Experimental, the Vans Knu Skool plays with proportions, tapping into consumer trends of the 2020s. And while the puffier model is inherently attention-grabbing, its update by BAPE®︎ ups the ante through a series of ABC CAMO and checkerboard patterns, as well as enlarged branding elements, STA™ logos on the profiles, and shark teeth around the forefoot.
Premium takes on the Knu Skool see mismatched "Camo Green" and "Camo Black" finishes: the former sees hits of traditional green on the lateral sides, while bold pink and rich purple animate medial profiles. Underfoot, a semi-translucent outsole reveals a familiar black-and-white checkerboard print. Both pairs arrive in custom, co-branded shoe boxes.
Enjoy detailed photos of the BAPE®︎ Knu Skool duo ahead. Pairs scheduled to release through Vans.com on Wednesday, July 15, for $150 each.
