For over 40 years, Thrasher has been the authority in the skateboarding subculture, serving as the godfather of the sport for generations past, and to come. Equally, Californian footwear manufacturer Vans are held upon a pedestal in the scene, a brand that trailblazer signature skate shoes (the Half Cab) as well as provides inexpensive, easy-to-skate classics like the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi, both of which feature in this new collaboration between the two parties.
Rocking the publication’s iconic fiery orange and yellow-hued logo, both models feature flaming “THRASHER” in repeat-print, angular style. From there, the respective model’s prototypical black and white tooling is flushed throughout, including appearances of classic gum waffle soles and red Off The Wall branding in the back. Then, both pairs pay tribute to the brand’s checkerboard print through the conclusion of a lateral tag under the lateral side stripe.
The pairs also arrive alongside a series of apparel.
