Vans has been moving with plenty of personality this season, and the new Slip-On“Cardigan” Pack keeps that momentum going with one of the brand’s coziest updates yet.
Already beginning to appear at select retailers, the pack reworks the classic laceless silhouette with a thick, multi-color woven upper that feels more like a vintage cardigan than a standard canvas Slip-On. The textured yarn finish gives the shoe a handmade feel, while the traditional low-profile shape, raised white rubber sole, and Off The Wall heel branding keep it firmly rooted in Vans’ everyday formula.
Two colorways lead the release. One pair leans into a warmer burgundy, pink, brown, and white mix, with wine-toned trim around the collar and foxing stripe. The second option takes a brighter approach, combining white, blue, green, orange, and pink threads across the upper, offset by black textile on the collar, side panels, piping, and midsole stripe.
The added hardware is what pushes the Vans Slip-On “Cardigan” Pack further into souvenir territory. Gold-toned pins are scattered across the vamp and heel, including Route 66 shields, flowers, peace signs, small animals, buttons, padlocks, and Vans references. Their uneven placement gives the pair a collected-over-time feel, almost like a travel jacket or thrifted sweater covered in keepsakes.
The project also fits into Vans’ wider run of expressive summer releases, following recent “Souvenir” Old Skool colorways and other more detailed lifestyle drops. While the brand has yet to announce an official release date, select retailers have already begun listing pairs.
The Vans Slip-On “Cardigan” Pack is available now at select retailers. A wider Vans.com launch has not yet been confirmed.
