This Vans “Tie Dye” Pack Pays Tribute to HOF Rockers the Grateful Dead
For the Old ‘Heads.
Many of you reading this might not know who the fuck the Grateful Dead are. But a quick Google search, and you will see a sea of tie-dye and vibrant colors. Old heads will remember (and we’re talking old-old) droves of people donning band merchandise, album artwork and tour posters in vibrant and colorful patterns. And still, 40 years later, the band is again making its way into popular culture, with this upcoming tribute pack from Anaheim’s Vans.
The canvas uppers of the Authentic, the Slip-On, and the Sk8-Hi have all been pimped out in colorful dyes, instantly bringing back a massive hit of nostalgia. And while this pack is not officially affiliated with the Grateful Dead, the Slip-On makes the tribute known by way of a boney, rose-wielding skeleton hand embroidered on its forefeet.
Good news is, you don’t have to be a diehard Dead-Head fan to rock this sauce, with the colorful style so hot right now, it’ll fit right into your springtime rotation with ease.
