This is brilliant.
In the buildup to yesterday’s release of the YEEZY 700 v2 “Geode,” adidas and Kanye West enlisted the help of families across America, including his own, to host pop-up YEEZY lemonade stands, to help raise funds and awareness for mental illness.
The home-made YEEZY lemonade stands were selling pre-releases of the sneaker, with all proceeds from the stand sales will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI), a charity hand-picked by Kanye. NAMI is the “largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.”
Take a peep at the Wests in action below, and if you or someone you know is suffering from mental illness issues, please head over to the NAMI’s Find Support page right here.
