The 700, which has seen iterations in “Sun” and “Cream” has been a slow burn, but with the silhouette set to hit shelves in a vibrant “Bright Blue” and MNVN “Bright Cyan”, the lineage appears to be picking up quickly. Another possible entry is this see-through YEEZY 700 v2, a pair that boasts a fairly simple palette akin to pairs we’ve seen before.
Bones and creams work in tandem with gum soles for an all-too-familiar theme, but it’s the incorporation of translucent paneling at the midfoot that sets these apart. It continues the brand’s recent, subtle variations to models, which include UV-sensitive colorways and skeletal caging on the 350. With sustainability a strong focus for Ye and his Foam Runner, the new material may well form part of the Three Stripes’ innovative recycled PRIMEGREEN package.
