“Sumac” and “Tactile Orange” YEEZY 500 Highs Arrive May 17th

Slowly but surely, the YEEZY 500 High is building momentum. After debuting back in 2019, the silhouette saw little to no action until late last year, but as soon as the calendar turned over to 2021, the onslaught arrived. This year alone we’d had three releases, and now there’s two more joining the lineup: the YEEZY 500 High “Sumac” and the YEEZY 500 High “Tactile Orange”

Both pairs arrive anchored in chocolate brown mesh, and feature identical navy and brown mudguards, tan suede toes, and faded blue suede eyestay overlays. Differences start with the Sumac colorway, which ushers in crimson-red leather underlays and laces, while the Tactile Orange opts for more hits of navy. The midsole plating arrives the same across both pairs, but each pair sports its own unique outsole combo; Sumac sweeps the entire sole unit in chocolate brown, while the Tactile Orange’s sole surfaces in one akin to the upcoming YEEZY 500 “Enflame”
