Independent YEEZY YS-01 Slides Are Heading to JD Sports

YEEZY is expanding its retail presence, with multiple colorways of the independently produced YS-01 Slide expected to release through JD Sports in August.

Priced at $44 each, the upcoming slides will be available both online and in JD Sports stores. JD Sports is now an exclusive retail partner for upcoming YEEZY footwear releases, giving the brand a wider platform beyond its direct-to-consumer website.

The release is completely separate from adidas. The YS-01 belongs to Ye’s current independent YEEZY operation and has no connection to the former adidas YEEZY partnership.

The molded slide features a minimal one-piece construction with a wide footbed and deeply grooved outsole. Exact colorways and individual release dates have not yet been announced.
