These Are The Top Goalscorers at the 2026 World Cup (Round of 16)

And just like that, all 48 teams participating in the 2026 World Cup™ have played at least one match since Thursday, June 11. Although the bulk of the tournament has yet to pan out, we at House of Heat° want to highlight the competition's top goalscorers so far.

Hate him or love him, Argentina's Lionel Messi has seven goals, cementing himself as the World Cup™'s top goalscorer of all-time with 20 goals. France's Kylian Mbappé and Norway's Erling Haaland have wowed audiences with their performances, which have also tied them with the Argentine at seven goals. This is making for a fierce competition for the adidas Golden Boot award. England's Harry Kane is also in the running with six goals.

Many of the top goalscorers thus far have worn either Nike Football or adidas Football boots, but PUMA and Skechers have also gotten on the scoreboard.
