Travis Scott's sneaker collaboration history is expansive, but he's also accumulated a number of non-footwear projects on his resume. His latest?: Chief Visionary for Oakley.
According to the experts in eyewear, the Houston-native is its first-ever collaborator to hold the position. Travis Scott has been a fan of Oakley's for quite some time—most notably during the Circus Maximus tour—but the official partnership marks a new chapter for both parties.
La Flame and his Cactus Jack cohort will be in charge of reimagining the future of Oakley's eyewear, apparel, and culture-oriented initiatives. Projects will include both the reworking of archival styles and all-new, experimental products.
To kick off the start of the partnership, a limited Day Zero drop is now available via shop.travisscott.com. The three-piece capsule offers a t-shirt, hoodie, and poster pack rooted in what’s ahead.
In other news, the Air Jordan 40 basketball shoe is expected to launch before the end of 2025.
