J. Cole Releases His First Dreamer Sneaker

J. Cole has officially moved Dreamer into footwear with the release of the Dreamer Indie 5000, marking the first sneaker to launch under his brand.

The new basketball model debuted through an exclusive release in Fayetteville, North Carolina, giving the city the first opportunity to pick up Cole’s latest project.

The Indie 5000 introduces a completely new silhouette for Dreamer, built around a performance-inspired shape with a layered upper and sculpted tooling. The debut colorway mixes white and light grey across the base with Carolina blue accents, black detailing, and a matching blue outsole.

The release also marks a notable step for Dreamer, which has previously operated primarily through apparel and lifestyle product. With the Indie 5000, Cole is now establishing a standalone footwear identity under the brand.

For now, the Dreamer Indie 5000 has only released in Fayetteville. Wider release details have yet to be announced.
