The adidas 4D Fusio Debuts January 15th
2021 for most people is the year for a fresh start and new beginnings, especially after the bin-fire that was 2020. In an attempt to stay ahead of the curb, the three-stripe innovators have been hard at it again coming up with a raw new concept to combine cutting-edge tech with modern-day hype, enter the adidas 4D Fusio.
This latest silhouette from the design lab features unseen aspects that will surely have other manufactures taking note. A predominantly black sock-like Primeknit lays the foundation for the upper deck which displays various hues of greys, pinks, and oranges weaved into the textile. One of the many eye-catching aesthetics of the futuristic design is the plastic pipings that intersect to create unique lace stays and heel pull loop. Stealing the show however is the sole unit, seamlessly fusing the upper to the undercarriage is the pink semi-translucent rubber panel that completely encompasses the join, peaking from under the upper is the 3D printed cage-like midsole that is dipped in a white-to-orange gradient all of which is framed by a tri-colored rubber outsole which leaves a lasting impression thanks to its primo footprint.
