The adidas adilette 22 Debuts on June 23

From Salehe Bembury to YEEZY — and even Jordan Brand — there are many considerations for your poolside wear for summer 2022. But the dark horse of the year has snuck past us all, with the glitchy adidas adilette 22 appearing out of nowhere to pronounce itself a contender.

The in-line sandal quite clearly borrows some design cues from the YEEZY Slide, though it’s definitely its own beast. Proffering a Roblox-like 8-bit construction, the apparent 3D-printed release sets in motion a new wave for the slip-on, as a digital divergence from the organic shapes seen on the aforementioned offerings from Salehe and his former boss Kanye West

Expect to see an onslaught of colorways hit shelves throughout the remainder of 2022, starting with the “Magic Lime”, “Desert Sand” and. “Lime Sand” on June 23rd. Other colorways coming soon include an all-black, and all-bone, and a black/bone mashup.
