adidas Celebrates Polynesian Bowl 2026 with Special U.S. Football Cleats

If you don't follow high school sports nor are tuned in with what goes on in Hawaii at the pre-college level, it's very likely this is your first encounter with the Polynesian Bowl. Yet, the event has been going on since 2017.

The annual event coincides with the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week and features the best high school talent from across the U.S. in an All-Star game of sorts. The occasion supports Shriners Children’s Hospitals amongst other organizations and causes. As a major sponsor for the game, adidas also champions community around the Polynesian Bowl. Ahead of the event's 2026 edition, the brand has put together a special edition of its Adizero Electric II U.S. football cleats.

Officially clad in a "Crew White/Collegiate Green/Crew White" color scheme, the commemorative version of the lightweight performance model pays tribute to Polynesian heritage. A decorative ti leaf lei-reminiscent component is found around the pair's heel, working in-tandem with the traditional tapa cloth graphics that appear throughout the cleats to celebrate both the Polynesian Bowl and the heritage at its center. The Adizero Electric II's design speaks to the strength, unity, and tradition found in both instances. All performance benefits baked into the silhouette are found in the limited-edition style.
