Although the "rivalry" is one-sided, there's no denying that there's certain friction between Mexico and Argentina when it comes to international football—in particular the FIFA World Cup™.
As both nations' official kit manufacturer, adidas, continues to get ready for the next global tournament, more and more product inspipred by some of football's more important sides continues to emerge—which now includes an Adizero Evo SL duo clad in colors reminiscent of both nations.
Though not officially part of each respective football federation's On-Pitch & Fan Collections, the performance silhouettes are undoubtedly inspired by Mexico's green-and-red and Argentina's white-and-light-blue tones. Both styles would couple well with the Three Stripes' 2026 World Cup™ Home jerseys for the two Latin-American squads, which have a long history with one another. (Having faced each other a total of 32 times between official and friendly matches, the "Albiceleste" leads with 16 wins. Mexico has only taken 4 games, while the remaining 12 have ended in a draw. The green-colored side hasn't beaten its South American opponent since a 1-0 win in 2004.)
Enjoy official photos of the two Adizero Evo SL pairs ahead. Both styles (and others) are now available via adidas.com for $150 each.
