Bad Bunny’s monumental summer is showing no signs of slowing down. Following exclusive Gazelle Indoor drops at his concert residency and an iconic F1 demonstration in San Juan that saw him named an honorary Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS team member, Benito is once again in the sneaker spotlight.
In his latest move, the global star has unveiled his newest adidas collaboration — a fresh colorway of the Adizero SL72 — by surprising influencer @ad__sneaks with seeded pairs directly in Puerto Rico. The new “Brown/Clear Pink” colorway continues the colorful and energetic design language that has defined his footwear drops, merging retro running aesthetics with modern flair.
The sneaker keeps the technical build of the Adizero SL72 intact, featuring breathable mesh, suede overlays, and responsive midsole cushioning. Accents of pink, red, and blue pop against the mocha brown upper, while co-branded gold foil details and a bold outsole layout deliver unmistakable flair. The left pair reads “Para Bad Bunny” beneath the Three Stripes, reaffirming the artist’s stamp on the silhouette.
These colors draw directly from Benito's Three Stripe archival Forum efforts, including his "First Cafe" "Easter Egg" and "Baby Blue" colorways.
This marks the fourth known colorway of the model since its debut, continuing a run of archival reinterpretations from Bad Bunny that’s helped bring renewed attention to forgotten adidas classics.
A release date for the Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL72 “The Archive” has been set for September 27th.
