adidas Carves Out a Campus in “Woodgrain”

Originally released in the 80s as an all-leather basketball shoe, the adidas Originals Campus 80s has, like many retro hoop shoes of the era, been repurposed for the streets. For the modern era, it’s been a favorite for collaborators, with 2021 seeing some creative creations from the likes of size? and South Park. Now it’s time for the Three Stripe’s in-house team to flex their creative flair with this adidas Campus “Woodgrain”

Arriving in just two tones, the pair rests atop a sail sole and toe unit, with uppers, tongues, overlays, laces, and liners of milk chocolate — most of which are covered in a woodgrain-like etching. The only sports void of such finish is the heel overlay, tongue tag, and liner — even the insoles sport an oaky finish.

Grab a detailed look at the adidas Campus “Woodgrain” here below, and expect to see these roll-out at select adidas cohorts shortly.
