Star players may be dropping out of Team USA like flies, but one thing that hasn’t disappointed us is the slew of FIBA footwear that’s set to accompany the international hoops tournament. Next to join the roster is actually a collaboration from Daniel Arsham, who first made an appearince on the adidas 4D Futurecraft. He’s taken to this adidas Crazy BYW X, which takes on the patriotic palette of red, white, and blue.
Starting out with a blank white mesh woven base, the pair weaves in colored thread at the toes — navy from the lateral toe and over the toebox, with pastel red covering the big toe. Reflective-lined bone lateral overlays arrive mismatched to the medial, which arrives in a pure white. Exposed BOOST heels come capped in a three-color translucent outsole which sports both adidas brand logos and a pair-specific line motif under the heel. Tonge and heel tags arrive in rough white suede, complete with pastel red branding hits.
A release date dor this US-themed adidas Crazy BYW X was not attached to the official image set, but with FIBA 2019 right around the corner, you can expect these to land at select adidas hoops cohorts and adidas.com over the coming weeks for the standard MSRP of $200.
