Damian Lillard Continues his Ring Chase with Upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog Collaboration

What do Damian Lillard and Sonic the Hedgehog have in common? They’re both chasing rings, of course. And now they share something else: a sneaker. This Sonic the Hedgehog x adidas Dame 6 follows on from the speedy character’s first reference on the Dame 4 “Chasing Rings,” but this time it’s more than just a midsole flash. The SEGA superstar’s blue colors drape the entire lateral side, but, like his debut “Ruthless” Dame 6, the sneaker shows off Lillard’s split personality, referencing Sonic’s friendly foe, Knuckles the Echidna down the medial. Metallic gold accents throughout tribute the game’s ring chase, and the pair is complete with a “D” motif underfoot stylized in the OG video game’s ethos.
