It looks like adidas’ annual Pride campaign has a straggler: Donovan Michell’s DON Issue 1.
With the entire collection arriving back in July, these could almost be included in next year’s drop — but it’s a timely reminder that we should continue to fight for equal rights for the LGBT community every month. The pair arrives anchored down in black Primeknit, with the forefoot weave opening up enough to show a white-based upper beneath. It appears again on the outsole, medial Three Stripes and tongue web detail, and the pair comes complete with rainbow-gradient propulsion clips, lateral detail and Spida motifs on the tongues.
