Available Now // “Wave Runner” and “Joker” Colorways Added to the Recently-Reinstated FYW 98 Line

Reintroduced to the market late last year in its OG duds, the adidas FYW 98 a.k.a. EQT Solution has now emerged in two new colorways, a classic Purple, Black and Neon “Joker”, and a very-YEEZY “Wave Runner”-like edition.

The former arrives with a white mesh base and is overlayed with black suede along the profile, grey suede at the heel and a purple mesh overlay over the vamp. It’s clunky white midsole is popped with more purple, black, and volt, with the claw-like profile three stripes painted in purple to complete the design. The YEEZY-esque pair sports an almost-identical makeup to the OG 700, pairing grey mesh uppers with green (instead of teal) and black overlays, along with a sail midsole and black rubber outsole. The Lateral Three Stripe branding is reminiscent of the Wave Runner’s soft orange midsole detail — and it even comes complete with yellow laces.
