Before adidas took over the world with the UltraBOOST or dominated marathon podiums with the Adios Pro 4, the German sportswear juggernaut launched the EQT (Equipment) series, a new product line dedicated to delivering the best in performance across various sports. adidas EQT has come and gone several times since its launch in 1991, with its latest appearance arriving in the form of a golf shoe.

The model is set to debut in the same 'Footwear White/EQT Green/Core Black' color scheme seen on the original adidas EQT 93 running sneaker. The spikeless golf shoes' build, however, deviates from its muse. By comparison, the GORE-TEX-protected ZX 8000 Golf 'Black' faithfully recreates its inspiration from '89 (save for the outsole).

Uppers opt for a sleek, almost shell-like construction that keeps seams to a minimum. Iconic 3-Stripes branding reprises its role on the profiles, with nods to the EQT 93's laceguards appearing in rich 'EQT Green.' The line's name and the logo it introduced in '91 land on the top of the tongue, too. Responsive BOOST takes over cushioning duties while the spikeless, semi-translucent outsole delivers another blast of the aforementioned green, as well as reliable performance for 18-holes. A Torsion component rounds out the pair.

Enjoy official photos of the Three Stripes' EQT Golf 93 ahead. A firm adidas.com release date hasn't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but the shoes should land for around $200 by April to coincide with the Masters tournament.
